Ore Processing plant

Ore processing plant commonly has two processes: crushing & screening, beneficiation process.

Crushing Process

In this process, large ore materials become small by the help of mechanical force. The crushing process is important during the treatment of ores. It is divided into four stages: crushing, grinding & classification, superfine crushing and micronization. It is a high energy-consuming operation, and its basic principle is “more crushing, less grinding”.

Gravity Concentration

Based on the differences in relative density, granularity, figure, and speed & direction of motion in medium (water, air, or other liquid which has big relative density), different materials are separated.

Magnetic Separation

This method is used to separate the ores in uneven magnetic field, in view of the difference in magnetism of ores.

Electric Separation

On the basis of diversity of electric conductivity of ores and gangue particles, the separation takes place in high voltage electric field.

Flotation Separation

Flotation separation, also called the froth flotation, is a kind of dressing draft which is based on the diversity of physicochemical property on the ore surface.

Ore Beneficiation Equipments

Ball mill: after crushing, ball mill is the key plant equipment which is used for further crushing. It is one of the widely used fine grinding plants in industrial production.

Dryer: Dryer is mainly used to dry materials with certain humidity or granularity. The dryer, featuring strong adaptability to materials, simple and reliable operation of the machine, is adopted at large. The dryers are mainly rotary dryer, revolving drum dryer, industrial dryer.

Rotary kiln: It takes mechanical, physical, or chemical treatment on the solid materials. Rotary kiln means rotary calcining kiln (commonly referred to as rotary kiln). Rotary kiln can be divided into cement kiln, metallurgy chemical kiln and lime kiln according to different materials treated.


  1. Combining the classifier with ball mill, the closed circulatory process is formed to classify ore sand.
  2. Also, the classifier is used in gravity mill to classify ore sands and fine clay.
  3. The classifier functions in ore pulp grading in metal ore dressing process.
  4. The classifier works in the processes of desZENITH and dehydration in ore washing operation.

Magnetic separator: with the help of the influence of magnetic force and mechanical force on ore particles, the magnetic separator works. Ore particles with different magnetism have different motion locus, so two kinds or several kinds of single products are separated.

Vibrating screen: Of all the dressing machines, the vibrating screen is designed to screen stone materials. The movement locus of vibrating screen is a circle. Inclined vibrating screen, which makes circle motion, is a new-style vibrating screen with multiple levels and high efficiency. By adopting barrel–type eccentric shaft vibrator and technology of partial block adjusting amplitude, screening line becomes longer.

Table concentrator: It is a kind of gravity ore dressing equipments, which is used in the beneficiation of fine-grain materials. It is widely used in the dressing process of tin, tungsten, gold, silver, lead, zinc, tantalum, niobium, iron, manganese, ferrotitanium, coal, etc.

Flotation Separator: This machine is applied to the dressing process of nonferrous metal, and nonmetal, such as coal fluorite, talc.
