Limestone processing plant

Limestone can be used in various industries, including metallurgy, building material, chemestry, sugar making, etc.

Limestone processing flowchart

In the case of limestone crushing line, we can adopt jaw crusher coupled with impact crusher. By doing so, we can get fine shaped materials and enable the crusher worn parts to last longer. And the general production process of limestone mine proceeds as follows: raw materials→jaw crusher→ vibrating screening→large (or small) limestones.

Cement factories, taking limestone as its raw material, usually conduct the crushing process with only one compound crusher. In the process, the compound crusher will carry out primary crushing directly to the limestone. Crushed particles are 10 to 20mm in size. By doing so, we can make sure the limestone will be crushed into the minimum size without considering the partical shape. In addition, the process will produce a large amount of powder materials.

Stone Quarry that mainly produce building aggregates could conduct two crushing processes. In this way, they can lower the proportion of powder needed for aggregate production.

The production process of Calcium Carbonate has involved ore grinding. The production line offers super-fine heavy calcium carbonate with 400, 800, 1250 and 2500 mesh.

Limestone processing equipment

We often use the jaw crusher for primary crushing of limestone. The meduim and fine crushing process is usually conducted with the cone crusher, impact crusher or hammer crusher. And we carry out the ultrafine crushing process with high-pressure roller mill, high-speed impact mill and jet mill.

Generally, we use drum washer or troughed ore washer to wash limestone mines.
