Coal gangue

Coal gangue is a solid waste created in the process of coal extraction and coal washing. The dark grey rock that appear along with coal, lies on the coal layers, contains a low level of carbon and is harder than coal. Coal gangue include rocks mixed in coal, rocks created in tunneling, rocks falling down in goaf, rocks above the construction site and carbonaceous rocks discharged in the process of coal beneficiation.

The usages of recovered coal gangues:

1. To recover coal and pyrite: We can extract qualified coal by washing the coal gangue and separating coal from the mixture through some simple processes. And by screening, we could sort out the low-grade coal as well as pyrite.
2. To produce electricity.
3. To produce building materials: It can replace clay as the raw material of bricks, thus reducing the exploitation of land. In the burning of bricks, as coal gangue is combustible itself, we could thus save coal.

Separation of coal gangue and crushing it into powders

As silica, ferric oxide and aluminum oxide account for over 80% in coal gangue, coal gangue is a natural clay raw material. It can be used to produce normal silicate cement, special cement, clinker cement and other cement for special building use.
